Last Thursday 22nd March, our 5th and 6th Graders performed two songs and an Irish dance for Primary students for the sake of celebrating Saint Patrick's Day, which took place last Saturday, 17th March.

El pasado jueves 22 de marzo, nuestros alumnos de 5º y 6º representaron dos canciones y un baile irlandés para el resto de sus compañeros de Educación Primaria, con el fin de celebrar el día de San Patricio celebrado el pasado 17 de marzo.

 Furthermore, our language assistant, Jordan, presented an interesting Powerpoint presentacion on how such a day is celebrated in the USA.

Además, nuestro auxiliar lingüístico, Jordan, presentó un Powerpoint muy interesante sobre cómo se celebra este día en los Estados Unidos.

From 29th January to Friday 2nd February we celebrated 'Peace Week' at school dealing with some readings and productions in our English sessions.

En la semana del 29 de enero al viernes 2 de febrero celebramos en el colegio "La semana de la Paz" llevando a cabo lecturas y producciones escritas en nuestras sesiones de Lengua Inglesa.

Being more specific, in 5th and 6th Year, students read about two main Peace characters : Mohandas Ghandi and Nelson Mandela, and produced creative projects. Let's have a look at them!:

GUY FAWKES WAS AT OUR SCHOOL! ¡GUY FAWKES ESTUVO EN NUESTRO COLEGIO!

Last 3rd November we celebrated Guy Fawkes' Day or Bonfire Day in our classrooms. Students worked on its historical connotations and  learnt by heart the following typical poem children tell in England:

Our 6th year students have worked on the human skeleton and muscles. Therefore, they have elaborated creative skeleton models. Excellent job!:

Our 5th Year students have learnt about animal and plant cells in Natural Science. Therefore, they have elaborated creative model cells. WELL DONE!:

All of our students worked on such an anglo saxon festivity. We learnt about its historical roots in class, we had fun taking part in creepy and sticky workshops and we got really scared in our House of Horrors. Furthermore, we decorated the school and our classroom doors. Look!:

Nuestros alumnos trabajaron sobre esta celebración anglosajona. Aprendimos sus raíces históricas en clase, nos divertimos en talleres "vizcosos" y pasamos mucho miedo en "El Tunel de los Horrores". Además, decoramos el colegio y las puertas de nuestras aulas.¡Mirad!:
